Starting Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game will transport players to the Little Colorado map, where they will go through a series of tutorials highlighting key mechanics and features that aid in their off-roading adventures. After arriving in Little Colorado, they can see that they'll be starting with 30,000 bucks, which should keep them afloat, but there are ways to earn more money.

That's why players should not underestimate the Little Colorado map, as it's an excellent way for them to earn money more efficiently and relatively fast, which can help them later on when exploring Arizona and the Carpathians locations. We've explained some of the best tips and tricks players can employ to make more money in Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game for a less arduous gameplay experience.

Complete All Little Colorado Expeditions

Little Colorado is the first map players will drop into at the start of the game as they learn about the gameplay mechanics and features present. This is achieved through the five research missions or expeditions they get deployed on as they utilize various tools and gadgets and explore the map extensively.

Players should first clear the Little Colorado expeditions to get acquainted with these mechanics and features so that when they explore Arizona and the Carpathians, they won't incur much trouble or hindrance to their experiences. Another reason why completing the Little Colorado expeditions is of great value is that they can earn money from completing them and will be able to unlock the Free Roam mode, where they can start making money fast and set themselves up for the Arizona and the Carpathians locations.

Unlock Free Roam Mode

As mentioned in the previous point, the Little Colorado location is a tutorial location for players to learn and acquaint themselves with the mechanics and in-game features. However, unlocking the Free Roam mode, the primary source of earning money faster, is equally critical to completing these expeditions.

More specifically, this mode is unlocked for this region after completing the Stone Ford expedition, ensuring that it's unlocked and that they're free to explore Little Colorado without any limitations to exploration and vehicle requirements. This mode will allow them to earn enough money to spend wisely on hiring Specialists, vehicles, and Base Camp upgrades, which will help further their progress.

Locate Airdrops

Now, having Free Roam mode unlocked allows players to explore Little Colorado extensively without meeting specific requirements or being restricted to certain areas. Having free reign in exploration will allow them to utilize their Drones and Binoculars to locate Airdrops, which are caches scattered across the map that contain valuable items like gear and equipment, Inventory stock, treasures, and more.

Once players discover an Airdrop for the first time, they'll receive a cash bonus upon its discovery, which will be marked on their Navigation map. They can continue seeking out the remaining Airdrop spots before doing one of two things: the option to drive back to their Field Operations Base, where they can transfer or sell items collected from the Airdrop caches, or return to the Headquarters from the Pause menu.

The latter option will reset the contents of the Airdrop caches discovered, and players can deploy back onto the map to loot the caches again. Airdrops will reflect the items that can be acquired when viewed on the map, and players can rinse and repeat this process.

Sell Items Through The Base Store

We've mentioned in the previous point that players can transfer or sell the items found inside the Airdrop caches. We highly recommend transferring the spare parts found in the caches as the parts can be used to make more Anchors and Jack Screws, which can be extremely valuable to have when buying them is no longer an option.

Granted, selling these items at a reduced rate doesn't sound feasible; however, as mentioned, what the Airdrops typically contain, they'll want to look out for two unique items. Dinosaur Femurs and the aforementioned Jack Screws, as these items tend to generate more money when selling them once an Airdrop is looted for the first time, they'll always be able to know what's inside these caches from the map.
