In Dave the Diver, players find themselves regularly plundering the ocean for all varieties of fish and creatures. From tiny clown fish to giant tiger sharks, there's nothing that Bancho's Sushi won't serve up to its guests. During the day, it's up to Dave to dive into the ocean in the search of fresh fish. At night, the restaurant is open for business and Dave must do his part to ensure the menu is filled and customer needs are met.
But there are some fish that can only be caught at night, such as the Moray Eel or the Box Jellyfish. Because of that, Dave will occasionally need to dive into the depths during the night, where he'll not only find these unique creatures but a far larger quantity of deadlier ones. But initiating the night time diving isn't immediately obvious. Here's what you need to know.
How To Go Night Diving In Dave The Diver
If you've received a special guest at the restaurant who has asked for a Moray Curry, then you'll know that you need to do some night diving in order to get the right ingredients. The game will inform you that you can only dive once per night, and that you'll need to keep an eye on the restaurant's opening hours. So how do you actually go diving at night?
When it gets to night time, you can choose to go night diving or head back to the restaurant. If you want to go night diving, simply head to the water like you usually would. You'll receive a prompt saying, "You can only dive once at night. ⅓ of evening working hours will be consumed."
Proceed as normal and Dave will dive back into the ocean, only this time things are a lot darker. Be on the look out for deadlier creatures, which are now in greater abundance. Sharks can also be found closer to the surface during night diving.
