Catch the Golden Joystick Awards Live on GINX TV This Thursday

The Golden Joystick Awards return this Thursday, celebrating the year in games live from London. This year's show is hosted by actor Ben Starr and will feature a variety of special guests including Baldur's Gate 3's Neil Newbon and Samantha Béart, music composer Alex Moukala, Assassin's Creed's Abubakar Salim, and more. 

Over 125 games, studios, hardware and TV shows will be represented in 21 categories, all voted for by the public. For those of you looking to catch the action as it happens, there's plenty of avenues to watch the Golden Joystick Awards live, including on our very own GINX TV channels.

How to Watch the Golden Joystick Awards 2024

The Golden Joystick Awards 2024 will be taking place on Thursday, November 21 at 8am PST / 11am EST / 4pm GMT. The entire ceremony will be broadcast on Ginx TV on Freeview channel 282 and Sky Stream/Sky Glass on channel 419. 

However, the awards will also be live streamed on YouTube, Twitch, Steam, Facebook and X. 

This year, the categories include Ultimate Game of the Year, Most Wanted, Best Gaming Hardware presented by EE Game Store and Studio of the Year. A number of new categories have also been added for this year, such as Still Playing - PC & Console and Still Playing - Mobile, Best Indie Game - Self Published, and Best Game Adaptation.
