The narrative-driven exploration adventure Caravan SandWitch has seen players spend countless hours exploring the vast landscapes of the picturesque Cigalo in their trusted caravan. Passing by unique vistas, stunning locales, and desolate areas during their quest to find their sister, they haven't been able to capture and document their journey due to a missing in-game feature.
This all changed in the latest game update, adding a few optimizations and adjustments and addressing major bug fixes, as detailed in its latest patch notes. This accompanied a new gameplay trailer, which should inspire new and returning players to further explore Cigalo by trying their hand "at capturing its essence" in their own photos.
Update 3 for Studio Plane Toast's Caravan SandWitch went live for consoles and PCs on 27th November 2024, when the developer released the patch notes detailing all the changes in the update. This update adds a highly requested gameplay feature, Photo Mode, in which players can now capture "the charming landscapes of Cigalo like never before!"
"With Sauge’s van and an all-new camera at your fingertips, you can now immortalize the warm sand dunes, picturesque calanques, and the intriguing inhabitants of this Provence-inspired planet," the description for the game's "Inspiration" trailer reads. Alongside the addition of the Photo Mode, there are new bug fixes, optimizations, and adjustments that were included in this narrative-driven exploration adventure, like resolving French text translation issues and item descriptions, patching an error for a specific quest, fixing issues with unlocking an Achievement and crashes when starting the game.
As players can now continue their journey to locate their missing sister "across a Sci-Fi Provence-like world," the new Photo Mode should help them unravel the mystery behind their sibling's disappearance in this charming adventure. Those who have yet to explore this "vibrant world" can grab the game as Caravan SandWitch is participating in the Steam Autumn Sale, which has gone live for which the narrative-driven exploration adventure is available "with a fantastic 20% discount" until 4th December 2024.
