Steam Hit Blood West Adds Iconic Voice of Fallout, Thief, Dishonored & Skyrim

There may not have been a more perfect voice for Blood West than their latest addition, and the wild west stealth game is primed to move on from Steam Early Access in a major way. Since launching via Early Access last year, Blood West has racked up hundreds of reviews and already earned "Very Positive" status on Steam.

Now the time is finally coming for Blood West 1.0 to arrive, and the latest trailer from developer HYPERSTRANGE shows off the voice that completes this experience. For most gamers of the last two decades, it's probably one they'll recognize.

Blood West, an immersive stealth FPS infused with horror and RPG game elements, is due for their biggest upgrade to date heading into their Early Access exit. Giving games time to breathe, find their audience, and refine content has been a huge boon for developers with the Steam Early Access feature, and now Blood West is looking to reach its final form.

The trailer has now been revealed for Blood West Chapter 3, the third and final chapter for the larger game that features over 20 hours of playtime across all chapters. While earlier chapters focused on mines and swamp locations, Blood West heads to the mountains this time alongside the voice of Stephen L. Russell.

As can be heard firsthand in the trailer above, Stephen L. Russell is bringing a whole new weight to the game as they prepare for a formal launch. If the voice sounds familiar, there's a very good reason for that.

Stephen L. Russell first made his mark in gaming as the voice of Garrett, the protagnist from the Thief series (as well as several other voice roles in those titles). Here are just a few of the other roles players might know Russell from:
