Prominent game developer and publishing company Riot Games has featured its string of acclaimed game titles worldwide in various events, collaborations, and partnerships. Just recently, Riot Games partnered with Tiffany & Co. to develop and redesign the Summoner’s Cup for its League of Legends World Championships 2022.
Now, Riot Games will join Gamer Girls Night In (GGNI) as its official headline gaming sponsor. GGNI’s second gaming event will take place at Samsung KX (King's Cross), London. The event kicks off on 21st August 2022 and will host Valorant-themed booths and goodies during the event, including a DJ, an open bar, and beauty and makeup-related kiosks to enjoy.
Riot Games Joins Gamer Girls Night In
On 19th August 2022, Riot Games announced it would join GGNI as its headline gaming sponsor for the second year to bring a night of gaming and Valorant-themed booths to attendees. GGNI is the UK’s first women (cis, trans, queer) and non-binary-only gaming event.

This is the event's second iteration, with its first event debuting in January 2020 and sponsored by big names like EA, PlayStation, Facebook, and more. “Presented by Black Girl Gamers and Nnesaga, GGNI is a safe space for women/non-binary professionals and lovers of gaming to network, celebrate, and promote diversity within the industry, exchange experiences, and have fun.”
In collaboration with Riot Games, its five-versus-five shooter title, Valorant, will be available to play for quests at GGNI. There will also be an exclusive hair styling booth with The Boss Look for guests to get a hairstyle inspired by Valorant’s agent, Astra, if they wish.
During GGNI, attendees can sit and watch a panel discussion titled “The Future of Branding,” featuring Sarah Joynt Borger, Head of Media House, EMEA Esports at Riot Games. In addition, there’ll be opportunities to connect with like-minded people and network with others from the gaming, fashion, and beauty industries.
Beyond these, the event will host notable DJs to jam, with a selection of tasty food and drinks to indulge in at the open bar. There’ll also be nail art booths provided by FNGR’D By Faith, beauty bars with NYX Professional Makeup, and a photo booth to capture beautiful moments.
For those looking to attend, GGNI general admission tickets cost £22.15 and are sold at Eventbrite. But be quick, as the event kicks off very soon.
