The signings include Diondre "YeBoiDre" Bond, Alred "Pride" Choi, Keane "Valliate" Alonso and Zachary "Venerated" Roach, who all competed in PUBG prior to turning to Valorant. They have been competing as Highground since the ESPN Esports Valorant Invitational when they were put together via tryouts to represent the PUBG community.
That roster will join Hiko, a former CS:GO pro who played for Rogue and Team Liquid in a storied career, to form the first 100 Thieves roster.

The first tournament under the 100 Thieves banner will be the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown, which is the third event of the Riot-backed Ignition Series and the first to be held for the North America region.
Teams will compete for a $50,000 prize pool and includes teams such as T1, Cloud9, Team SoloMid, FaZe Clan and more.
