Stunlock Studios' latest survival game V Rising is a hit among gamers, melding vampire-themed gameplay and familiar survival mechanics. Much like the real world, Gold or Gold Jewelry is an important commodity in V Rising, used in crafting and to upgrade gear.

Naturally, finding Gold Jewelry and refining it into Gold Ingots is a vital skill to know in V Rising, especially in the endgame when enemy mobs are brutal and bosses even deadlier. This guide will explain how to make Gold Ingots in V Rising, giving you the edge you'll need in the battle to become a powerful vampire. 

V Rising - How to get Gold Ingots from Gold Jewelry

Gold Ingots can only be made by smelting Gold Jewelry, the latter of which are only dropped by specific enemies in the game. To farm Gold Jewelry in V Rising, make your way to the Brighthaven Cathedral. Once there, you will face elite enemies called the Paladins and Wizards.

Although these enemies have a high chance of dropping Gold Jewelry when defeated, they are tough mobs to fight; therefore, you must be well-prepared to take them on. Additionally, the Holy Aura surrounding the Cathedral can also be a danger and can damage you severely, so bring along some Holy Resistance Flasks if you have them.

You can also get Gold Jewelry by defeating higher V Blood enemies in the game, as they often drop it when defeated. There is also the option of heading to Silverlight Hills and farming Gold Jewelry from the elite armored Knights and Clerics, who are formidable opponents but often drop Gold Jewelry upon their death.

V Rising - How to get Gold Ingots recipe

However, before you can start creating those Gold Ingots, you will need the recipe to smelt the Gold Jewelry. This recipe is obtained after defeating Azariel the Sunbringer, the V Blood boss of the Brighthaven Cathedral. He is a level 68 boss, so be prepared with Holy Resistance flasks, at least Tier III Armor, and the resolve to challenge him. 

Once he's fallen, you will receive the recipe for Gold Ingots and can now begin smelting Gold Jewelry into Ingots in your base's Furnace.

To smelt one Gold Ingot, you will require 8 Sulphur and 8 Golden Jewelry. Once you have the Gold Ingot, you can embed it into your armor to increase damage resistance and into your weapons to increase their attack damage.
