How to craft Whetstones in V Rising

V-Rising is a new top-down vampire survival game from developer Stunlock Studios that features RPG elements like exploration and crafting. As with most survival games, crafting plays a vital role as you will spend a lot of collecting and managing resources to craft items that would come in handy during precarious combat encounters. 

Whetstones are essential resources in the world of V Rising, and you will need plenty of those to craft special weapons and a Grinder in the game. Whetstones are not particularly difficult to find though crafting them is a different ordeal. As such, here's our guide that explains how to craft Whetstones in V Rising.

How to craft Whetstones in V Rising?

To craft a Whetstone in V Rising, you will first need to unlock Blood Altar, a workstation that will allow you to track and hunt powerful bosses for valuable resources and blueprints. Crafting Whetstone requires the Stone Coffin blueprint, which can be acquired by defeating a level 27 boss called Grayson the Armourer.

How to find Grayson the Armourer in V Rising?

Hover down to Grayson the Armourer's name in the Blood Altar and click on "Track Blood" to track its location. Once you have tracked Grayson the Armourer, take him down to unlock the Stone Coffin blueprint.

The battle with Grayson the Armourer is relatively straightforward, so you won't have much problem dealing with it. Grayson wields a heavy axe that takes a considerable amount of time to swing, giving you enough window to dodge or put in some damage.

To make defeating the boss easier, you can use any magic attack or ability to overwhelm Grayson the Armourer. Once he's down, extract his V blood and get back to the base.

Now you will be able to craft Whetsones, granted you have the required materials to make them. To craft a single Whetstone, you will need the following materials, which will be placed inside a furnace:

• x1 Copper Ingot
• x12 Stone Dust
