Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is an RPG with looter-shooter elements. RPGs tend to have a multitude of overlying gameplay mechanics that you need to manage frequently, and inventory management is one of them.
Sadly, inventory management is a bit cumbersome in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and given the absurd amount of loot you get, it won't take long for your inventory to get full. Infact, you could end up filling your inventory in the first chapter itself. As such, you would want to increase your inventory space as soon as possible. Here's our guide that explains exactly how to increase your inventory space in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
Increasing inventory space in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
You unlock the option to increase your backpack space after finishing the third main quest in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Once you have secured Brighthoof in the mission called "A Hard Day's Knight," the city residents will return, including the blacksmith you need to upgrade your backpack.
You will find the blacksmith in the southernmost corner of Brighthoof. You can find the exact location of the same in the screenshot above. Once in the area, approach the furnace on the left-hand side, and you will get the option to increase backspace space, lost loot space, and storage bank.
You can also increase the ammo carrying capacity of various gun types like rifles and shotguns, but since you find ammo in abundance during every mission, we recommend increasing the backpack first.

Every backpack upgrade gives you three extra carrying slots. This won't necessarily be enough, so make sure to upgrade as much as you can whenever possible. You can also sell the unnecessary items in your inventory to the various vending machines for some quick gold. Trading in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is also a quick and easy way to get more gold. Alternatively, you can store these items in your storage bank, which you also unlock after finishing the third main quest.
