Addison Rae is one of the biggest TikTok stars, with over 49 million followers on the platform. She has, however, made some missteps as of late, first sharing Black Lives Matter selfies in June which was seen as "shallow" by fans.
Fans recently became aware of how Addison Rae shared an "All Lives Matter" video four years ago, which was met with allegations of racism. After going silent on social media, the TikTok superstar has come back with an apology.
Addison Rae apologizes for All Lives Matter video
Addison took a few days off Social Media, and came back with an apology on Twitter. She promised to become a "better ally", and explained how she reposted an "All Lives Matter" video of a woman sharing her thoughts on the issues.
Addison Rae's explains: "I owe all of you an apology. Four years ago, I reposted a video which included a woman sharing her thoughts on Black Lives Matter and All Lives Matter that I should not have.
"Because of my privilege, I didn’t understand and wasn’t educated enough on the social injustices facing the Black community. All lives CANNOT matter until Black lives do. The black community was and continues to be oppressed and damaged by systematic racism."

Addison finishes off her statement on the issue by saying "I am truly sorry", promising to work on herself. At the time Addison reposted the video in question, she was 15 years old.
Not everyone is happy with the TikTok star's apology, pointing out how she took four years to apologize for her actions, and dodging other allegations towards her.
