CD Projekt RED Launches The Witcher Monopoly Board Game In Select Countries

Over the years and possibly decades, we have seen multiple variations and spin-offs of the iconic board game Monopoly, like the Junior Edition and, more recently, the Monopoly Knockout edition, released in 2023. The Monopoly Board Game has also seen countless themed iterations based on popular media IPs from film, television, and video games; its latest edition is set in the world of an iconic fictional world.

The Continent from The Witcher novel series and video games has received its own Monopoly Board Game, announced by its video game developer CD Projekt RED. However, Witcher fans looking to get their hands on this will have to reside in the available countries and territories that stock it or deplete their Silver by importing it to their location.

The official Witcher social media accounts announced that the Monopoly: The Witcher board game is now available for fans to get for themselves or avid fans in time for Christmas. According to the social media post, players can finally "join the hunt for victory in Monopoly: The Witcher — trade monsters, build houses and manors, leverage Law of Surprise, and try to be the last player with coins in your pouch!"

In this new "fantastical version" of the iconic board game, the main objective is to utilize the aforementioned "Law of Surprise and casual Bounty cards to bankrupt your challengers and be the last player with any crown currency to win." As for how they can acquire this latest Monopoly-themed board game, CD Projekt RED confirmed that stock is currently available in selected countries, namely Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Poland.

The developer has provided the retailers currently carrying Monopoly: The Witcher online for these selected countries, where players can add the board to their shopping cart and have it delivered before Christmas. They're also advised to check their policies on international shipping, for which the UK online retailer unfortunately does not ship overseas, for which they're advised to check other retailers for this service.
