Tarkov Gunsmith Part 3 Mechanic Quest Guide

Escape from Tarkov Gunsmith tasks are the easiest way to make a quick buck and XP, however, you're going to need to spend time and money establishing the requirements of the task. Even after five/six years of playing, the gunsmith tasks remain a mystery and research commences every time Mechanic is gracious enough to bestow the quests upon me. Following Gunsmith Part One, Gunsmith Part Two and Three are given to players to complete and they unfortunately don't come easy. Within this guide, we're going to cover how to complete and build the MP5 desired by the Mechanic. 

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 3

Gunsmith Part 3 will require a series of weapon attachments for the MP5 following these criteria:

• 60 Durability - Mechanic will not accept a weapon of lower durability!
• 45 or greater ergonomics
• 200 or less recoil
• 200 or greater sighting range
• 4 kg or less in weight
• Any tactical device (such as the NcSTAR Tactical blue laser LAM module)
• A silencer
• HK MP5 9x19 X Products X-5 50-round drum magazine

The build is based on an MP5SD, you're able to purchase the parts to build an MP5SD when reaching loyalty level two Peacekeeper, or you're able to barter for an MP5SD from Mechanic loyalty level two. Of course, these require you to obtain a high rank and complete a series of tasks, therefore purchasing these parts from the flea market or finding them in raid is understandable.

How to Complete Gunsmith Part 3 

To complete the task, build Mechanic this MP5 with the following attachments:

Please remember that all weapons submitted to Mechanic must be above 60 durability, otherwise, you'll have to purchase another MP5 and rebuild the weapon. If you're unable to purchase these items, enter The Lab and kill raiders as they usually carry MP5SDs with them.
