Tarkov Gunsmith Part 11 Mechanic Quest Guide

After concluding Escape from Tarkov's Gunsmith Part 10, Mechanic will offer you an improved and more intricate task, Gunsmith Part 11. Here, you will be tasked with building a KRISS Vector 9x19 to comply with the given specifications, many players will experience pain and a sense of loss due to the AS VAL removal from Gunsmith Part 11 and the implementation of the new and improved. 

The Gunsmith tasks will hopefully guide players on how to build the best weapons whilst speeding up the time to achieve the Kappa container. Gunsmith tasks provide a great foundation for newer players to learn how to use the weapon customization platform comfortably, whilst also earning an abundance of XP and money! Additionally, you'll need to be level 22 to begin this task.

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 11

Gunsmith Part 11 will require a series of weapon attachments for the KRISS Vector 9x19 modified to match these specifications:

• 60 Durability
• 50 or more ergonomics
• 200 or less recoil
• 300 or greater sighting range
• A silencer
• KRISS Vector Mk.5 modular rail
• Tactical Dynamics Skeletonized Foregrip
• Glock 9x19 "Big Stick" 33-round magazine

Firstly, you'll need to purchase the Vector from the Flea market or from Skier (Loyalty level 3 after completing "Vitamins Part 2"), make sure the Vector is above 60 durabilities otherwise Mechanic will not accept the weapon. 

How To Complete Gunsmith Part 11

To complete Gunsmith Part 11, modify the KRISS Vector with these attachments:

Thankfully, there aren't too many weapon components involved within the KRISS Vector build. As many players are aware, the KRISS Vector doesn't need much modification to put in work, this gun shreds Altyns and Scav bosses like you wouldn't believe.

These weapon attachments are quite rare to find within weapon crates, especially the KRISS Vector-specific attachments, you're going to benefit more from buying them directly from the Flea market and saving yourself time. However, if desired to loot these items, it's recommended that you travel to Interchange and search the KIBA store in hopes of finding these items or looking in general weapon crates.

Gunsmith Part 11 rewards aren't too bad, considering it most likely took five minutes to complete the task, there is a nice return on investment here:

• +11,600 EXP
• Mechanic Rep +0.02
• 500 Dollars
  • 525 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 1
  • 575 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 2
• 1× SureFire SOCOM556-MINI MONSTER 5.56x45 sound suppressor
• Unlocks barter for Colt M4A1 5.56x45 assault rifle (variant SAI ) at Mechanic LL2

Like other Gunsmith tasks, it's advised you save your earned fortunes to put towards future Gunsmith tasks, the tasks get more expensive as you progress and it won't hurt to have a little extra pocket change.
