There's a new Mario game on the horizon called Super Mario Bros. Wonder, set to launch in October 2023. The game will have a lot of interesting features such as online multiplayer for those who want to share the experience with their friends.

On top of the usual features, such as having multiple different characters in Mario Wonder, there is a new feature called Badges and, from what we have seen, it will definitely change how you play the game. Here, we will go over what Badges are in Mario Wonder and what you can expect them to do.

What Are Badges In Mario Wonder?

Badges essentially change how you play the game in Mario Wonder. In the most recent Mario Wonder Direct, badges are essentially new abilities. From what we can tell, there are a wide variety of badges that you can obtain in Mario Wonder, and each ability does something completely different.

For example, you can equip the Invisibility Badge to turn yourself invisible. The Jet Run will automatically make you run during a course. The Coin Magnet will make it easier to collect coins in Mario Wonder. There are many more badges that you can get but you can only equip one badge at a time.

How To Find Badges In Mario Wonder

From what we can tell, there are a few different ways that you can collect Badges in Mario Wonder. One way to get Badges is through Badge Challenge Courses. This will equip you with a new badge and you have to complete the course to earn the badge to be used across other courses. This also will get you used to how the badge works before you equip it on actual courses.

The second known way to get badges is through Poplin Shops, which are found on the overworld before you enter a new stage. From there, you will spend the Flower Coins that you have collected during the courses and spend them on Badges. So make sure you are collecting coins as you are playing the game.
