In a shocking turn of events, Street Fighter V's final DLC won't be a returning character nor a guest from another franchise, instead, Capcom has decided to present a brand-new fighter -- Luke.
During the Summer Update showcase, the developers gave fans more information regarding the final three characters the game would receive, with SFIII's Oro and Rival Schools' Akira set to release this upcoming 16th August.
For thousands of fans, the way Capcom had kept the final DLC under wraps could only mean the Japanese developer was set to close out the extended SFV dev cycle with a bang, taking into account Seth and Gill were originally the final DLC until delays on SFVI forced the company to come up with an unplanned Season 5.
According to producer Shuhei Matsumoto and director Takayuki Nakayama, Luke will give fans a glimpse into the future of Street Fighter, which at this point can only mean one thing -- he'll play a big role in the upcoming Street Fighter VI.
SFV Luke - Release date
We don't have an official release date for Luke in Street Fighter V, however, Capcom mentioned he's set for a November release.
