In collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, publisher Ubisoft and developer Massive Entertainment released their much-anticipated Story trailer for their forthcoming action-adventure game Star Wars Outlaws across multiple digital platforms. The upcoming action-adventure game was revealed during the Xbox Showcase presentation before an official trailer debuted at the Ubisoft Forward in June 2023.

The Story trailer, which premiered on 9th April 2024 at 9 am / 12 pm EST / 4 pm UTC across major digital and social media platforms, including YouTube, focuses on the various criminals protagonist Kay Vess and Nix will encounter and work alongside through the game's story campaign. In addition to showcasing the dark and gritty underworld within the galaxy far, far away, players were treated to confirmation of a release date for Star Wars Outlaws.

Star Wars Outlaws will be the first canonical open-world adventure game developer by Massive Entertainment, which utilized the power of the Snowdrop Engine to create the dark underworld of the galaxy far, far away. Playing as the protagonist, Kay Vess, along with her companion, Nix, the duo will explore these nefarious parts as they are assigned to "pull off one of the greatest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen."

As Kay has to take on and complete various dangerous missions from some of the galaxy's most menacing crime lords, players will unravel the story of the titular character, who is looking to find her way out of the criminal underworld in pursuit of starting afresh.
