When Does Splatoon 3 Sizzle Season 2023 Release?
The new Splatoon 3 season, called Sizzle Season 2023, will go live on June 1st and bring many new features and changes to the game.

New Weapons
Sizzle Season 2023 will introduce two new main weapons, the S-Blast '92 and the Painbrush. The S-Blast '92 is a blaster-type weapon that fires explosive ink balls that can splat enemies from a distance. The Painbrush is a brush-type weapon that can swipe ink rapidly and create narrow trails for mobility.
New Maps
The new season will also add two new maps for multiplayer battles, Barnacle & Dime and Humpback Pump Track. Barnacle & Dime is a seaside resort with a lot of elevation changes and obstacles. Humpback Pump Track is a returning map from Splatoon 2 that features a skate park with ramps and rails.
New Salmon Run Map
For fans of the co-op mode Salmon Run, Sizzle Season 2023 will bring a new map called Jammin’ Salmon Junction.
New Challenges Mode
Another new feature coming in Sizzle Season 2023 is the Challenges mode. This mode is similar to Turf War but with various modifiers that change the gameplay. For example, some matches may have fog conditions that limit visibility or moon gravity that affects movement and ink physics.

Sizzle Season 2023 will also update the catalog with new gear and Tableturf Cards. Tableturf Cards are collectible items that show information about different weapons and their kits. Some of the guns that are getting new kits in Sizzle Season 2023 are H-3 Nozzlenose, Rapid Blaster Pro, Tenta Brella, Dual Squelchers, Tetra Dualies, Heavy Splatling, Splatana Wiper, Splatershot Nova, and Big Swig Roller.

Finally, the biggest news for Sizzle Season 2023 is the addition of fistbump emotes to the victory screen. Players can now celebrate their wins with their teammates by performing a friendly gesture.
