The TLDR version is that a rough, average estimate to beat Sniper Elite 5 is 20 hours.

In an interview with Jordan Woodward, Head of Design at Rebellion from WCTFtech, the developer explained: "The length of time taken to finish the game varies so much, depending on whether you undertake the side missions and also your play style. If you are a stealthy, cautious player who’s looking to complete some side missions, then I would say you are looking at over 20 hours to complete the main campaign.

"There is then still plenty of room left for replaying missions to complete anything you missed on the first playthrough. Other players may just want to blast through the campaign with a more run and gun approach. There are a lot of variables."

Keep in mind that this all depends on player skill, how many collectables (152 in total) they chase up, the gameplay style (run and gun, stealth etc) they adapt to, and which difficulty level is chosen.

Very skilled gamers might be able to beat Sniper Elite 5's story campaign in a dozen hours, while those completionists might spend over 30 hours. There's also an Invasion PvP feature, which allows others to invade your campaign, which means more time can be added as another player hunts you down.

How long is Sniper Elite 5's Wolf Mountain DLC?

The Wolf Mountain DLC (which you get from pre-ordering the game) features one additional mission, as players are tasked to kill Hitler.

At the time of writing, there's no exact time it would take to beat Sniper Elite 5's Wolf Mountain DLC mission. However, taking Sniper Elite 4 pre-order DLC completion length into consideration, we expect this to take roughly one to two hours depending on player skill.

All in all, it is fair to say that Sniper Elite 5's campaign is a meaty experience. There should be enough to keep dedicated players busy for dozens of hours, and we expect most players to take between 15 and 20 hours to beat the game's story for the first time.
