Rocket League Sideswipe has new and old rocketeers alike in a state of euphoria, making veterans remember their roots of uncontrollable cars and up-and-coming players rejoice in the unique world of car soccer.

That being said, it feels like the Alpha, Beta and pre-season flew by, including the first-ever competitive campaign which just came and went. As the second instalment is ready to go supersonic, there are plenty of questions and, thankfully, we have the answers.

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 2 duration

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 2 kicks off 2nd February 2022. It is currently unknown how long Season 2 will last, though it’s expected it’ll run for around three months like its predecessor.

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 2 extra mode

Rocket League Sideswipe will be replacing Hoops, the Rocket League version of basketball, with Volleyball, making it the first new sport to be introduced to the title in over three years.

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 2 challenges

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 2 includes free cosmetics and a variety of challenges for more goodies and XP points. The challenges are separated into Weekly and Seasonal challenges. Head to the Challenges screen in the main menu for more details as these challenges get updated quite quickly during the campaign!

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 2 Rocket Pass

The Rocket League Sideswipe Season 2 Rocket Pass provides 50 tiers of free content including battle cars, boosts and more.

Remember that in-game items are merely cosmetics and they do not affect your in-game performance. It’s also worth noting that if you look good, you feel good therefore play better so it wouldn’t hurt to add these to your Garage.
