The RLCS Season X was revamped and brought to life in front of our very eyes in July 2020 and nearly 10 months later we find ourselves in the home stretch of it all.
The culmination of the longest competitive Rocket League season is right around the corner and the return of LAN events, to some capacity, has been long-awaited.
This event features high-stakes -- Pierre “Turbopolsa” Silfver's second European encounter since leaving the continent, the incredibly hyped NA vs EU debate starring Team BDS and the rest of the region and, of course, the fans witnessing history worldwide.
While there is a bunch of mixed feelings seeing one of the best and most fruitful seasons for fans, players and orgs come to an end, here’s everything we know about the RLCS X World Championship LAN.

RLCS X World Championship date
Per Psyonix, the Rocket League World Championship for Season X will be held after the Spring Split is over for all regions. The last Spring tournament will be the North American major held on the 22nd and 23rd of May 2021.
The RLCS Season X World Championship LAN is expected to be played sometime between June-July of this year.
RLCS X World Championship location
Rocket League Season 9 LAN was set to be held in Dallas, Texas in April of 2020. Since its cancellation due to COVID-19, the RLCS Season X was announced in a three-split format until the pandemic settled down worldwide.
It is currently unknown if the RLCS X World Championship LAN will be held in Dallas still.
RLCS X World Championship teams
The RLCS Season X is composed of three splits with each split having three regional events and one major tournament per region.
All competitions will have their own prize pool and RLCS circuit points to give out depending on each team’s placement.
The points will accumulate throughout the season which will create a regional leaderboard to decide who will qualify for the World Championship.
The RLCS X LAN will be hosting 16 teams from regions all around the world: the top six from North America, top six from Europe, top two from Oceania and top two from South America.

At the moment, Europe’s Team BDS is the only team mathematically qualified for the RLCS X World Championship regardless of any tournament finish from the Spring Split.

RLCS X World Championship tournament format
While most RLCS LAN events have held a double-elimination style format, the RLCS X World Championship LAN is expected to bring a twist to the tournament in order to not repeat either the Fall, Winter or Spring splits' experience.
