RLCS X Lamborghini Open: How to watch, schedule, format and Battle of the Bulls

In the second sponsored NA regional event this Spring Split, Automobili Lamborghini partners up with Psyonix to bring the RLCS X Lamborghini Open.

The Rocket League professional circuit will have one last regional in the North American region as we race into the Spring Major and RLCS X Championships, the finale to the longest competitive season to date.

And yeah, fans and players alike are disappointed about the absence of a LAN event but it’s the journey, not the destination as there are still high stakes in the home stretch.

With many points to give, seeds to clinch, prize pool to split and bragging rights to earn, here’s everything you need to know about the last regional in RLCS Season X, the Lamborghini Open.

Rocket League Battle of the Bulls event

Days 1, 2 and 3 of the regional event will also be filled with 1v1-action as high-profile names yet to be announced will battle in duel format with the winner taking $5,000 and the loser only $1,000 each match.

The duels and schedules will be announced shortly before the start of the Lamborghini Open so stay tuned and come back then to see the attraction show matches in the Battle of the Bulls!

RLCS X Lamborghini Open schedule

The RLCS X Lamborghini Open will be held on 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th April at 10 a.m. PDT (5 p.m. UTC)

RLCS X Lamborghini Open: how to watch

The RLCS X Lamborghini Open will be streamed per-usual on Rocket League’s YouTube and Twitch channels. 

Each day the stream will start at 10 a.m. PDT (5 p.m. UTC) but because of the number of matches played during the 20-team Round-Robin phase, each team will have their own Twitch channel streaming Day 0, 22nd April.

RLCS X Lamborghini Open format

The RLCS X Lamborghini Open will have three phases to the tournament:

Group Stage - April 22nd - April 23rd

• 20 teams - split into 4 groups of 5.
• Round Robin Bo5
• Tiebreakers: In the case of a tie, game differential is the primary tiebreaker that seeds the teams, followed by Head to Head.
• Top two of each group qualify to the Winners' Bracket of the Knockout Gauntlet.
• Places 3 and 4 of each group qualify to the Losers' Bracket of the Knockout Gauntlet.
• 5th place of each group is eliminated.

Knockout Gauntlet - April 24th

• 16 teams.
• Double Elimination Bracket.
• All matches are Bo5.
• Top 8 - 4 from the Winners' and 4 from the Losers' Bracket - advance to the Playoffs.

Playoffs - April 25th

• Single Elimination Bracket.
• All matches are Bo7.

RLCS X Lamborghini Open prize pool

The RLCS X Lamborghini Open has a total prize pool of $100,000. The prize pool plus RLCS Circuit Ranking points needed to qualify for RLCS X Championships event is distributed as such:

• 1st: $30,000 and 451 points

• 2nd: $15,000 and 350 points

• 3rd - 4th: $8,000 and 280 points

• 5th - 8th: $5,000 and 210 points

• 9th - 12th: $2,000 and 150 points

• 13th - 16th: $1,500 and 110 points

• 17th - 20th: $1,250 and 70 points
