RLCS X European Championship: How to watch, format, teams, prize pool and more

Another Rocket League Championship Series flashed before our eyes with only one more event in the old continent with the highest of stakes in bragging rights, prize pool money and momentum so far.

The culmination of the 10-month-long season is finally upon us as the region reaches its climax in the RLCS X Championships in a tournament that spans beyond a single series.

From format and prize pool to who will be playing when and how many times, here’s everything you need to know about the RLCS Season X European Championship.

RLCS X European Championship teams

The RLCS X European Championship will have only the top six teams in the region competing for the number one spot. Here’s the full list of squads and their seed depending on their RLCS X circuit points and leaderboards spot:

• Team BDS (1st seed)
• Team Vitality (2nd seed)
• Top Blokes (3rd seed)
• Guild Esports (4th seed)
• Solary (5th seed)
• Team Queso (6th seed)

RLCS X European Championship: how to watch

The RLCS X European Championship will be streamed per usual on Rocket League’s official Twitch channel.

RLCS X European Championship Format

The RLCS X European Championship will have the following format:

• Page Playoff Bracket.
• 5th and 6th start against each other in the Lower Bracket with 3rd and 4th in the Upper Bracket, playing a Double Elimination Bracket.
• The rest stands as a Single Elimination Bracket.
• All matches are a Bo3 set for a Bo5 (First to win 2 Bo5 series) except the Semifinals and Grand Finals, which are a Bo3 set for a Bo7 (First to win 2 Bo7 series).

The RLCS X European Championship will be holding matches on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 15: 

• Europe, Round 1 - 8 a.m. PDT (3 p.m. UTC)
• Europe Quarterfinal #1 - 10 a.m. PDT (5 p.m. UTC)

Wednesday, June 16:

• Europe Quarterfinal #2 - 8 a.m. PDT (3 p.m. UTC)

Thursday, June 17:

• Europe Semifinal #1 - 8 a.m. PDT (3 p.m. UTC)

Friday, June 18:

• Europe Semifinal #2 - 8 a.m. PDT (6 p.m. UTC)

Sunday, June 20:

• Europe Grand Finals - 8 a.m. PDT (3 p.m. UTC)

RLCS X European Championship prize pool

The RLCS X European Spring Major has a total prize pool of $400,000. The prize pool distribution is yet to be announced.
