To start, you’ll need to fish during an active Blue Moon event in Fisch. These only happen on Clear Winter Nights or can be summoned using a Blue Moon Totem. Once you're inside the Lushgrove or Snowcap Blue Moon pools, start ticking these fish off your list:

The Moon Idol does not have a preferred bait or ideal conditions. You just have to be super lucky. Depending on which Blue Moon pool you're fishing in, you'll either catch the Moon Idol Sea 1 or Moon Idol Sea 2. It's important to note that they are different fish but still function identically.

By catching a Moon Idol in the Blue Moon pool, you'll get the "Moon-Kissed" buff, which grants the following effects for a full 24 Hours:

• +50% XP from all Fish
• +10% Chance to double Fish Weight
• +5% Chance to catch Moon-Kissed Mutation
• Shimmering Effects applied to your Fishing Rod (visual)
