R6 Major Manchester Finals: Dates, Format, How To Watch

Kicking off the 2024 season with something special, the R6 Major is being held in the United Kingdom for the first time ever. Teams from nine different regions are heading to Manchester to compete in the BLAST R6 Major for a share of the $750,000 prize pool.

This particular tournament is split into two phases, the first two of which aren't open to the public, though fans can watch along with streams. But, from May 24 - 26, a huge live event at Manchester's B.E.C. Arena will see fans show up in droves to support their teams in the Quarter-, Semi- & Grand Finals.

When Do The R6 Major Manchester Finals 2024 Take Place? 

The R6 Major Manchester Finals are Phase 3 of the tournament, and include the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Grand Finals matches taking place on the following days:

• Quarterfinals: Friday, May 24, 2024
• Semifinals: Saturday, May 25, 2024
• Grand Finals: Sunday, May 26, 2024

As for times, matches will be kicking off at the following:

Quarterfinals

• Match 1: 10 a.m. BST
• Match 2: 1:30 p.m. BST
• Match 3: 5 p.m. BST
• Match 4: 8:30 p.m. BST

Semifinals

• Match 1: 3:45 p.m. BST
• Match 2: 7:15 p.m. BST

Grand Finals

• Match 1: 5:30 p.m. BST

R6 Major Manchester Finals 2024 Format

The format for the R6 Major Manchester Finals weekend is as follows:

• 8 team Single-Elimination bracket.
• Quarter and Semi-Finals are Best of 3.
• Grand Finals is Best of 5 with standard overtime rules.
