Pokémon GO World Championship Raids - All Raid Bosses, Shiny Pokémon

If you're as excited for the 2022 Pokemon GO World Championship as we are, then you're likely eager to know what Pokemon you can expect to see during the Raids and if there will be any Shinies that you can encounter. Well, we have you covered in that department with this article.

We will be taking a look at all of the Pokemon Raid Bosses that you will be up against, and the Shiny variants you might run into with a bit of luck. So without any further delay, let's jump right into it. 

Pokémon GO World Championship Raids - All Raid Bosses And Shiny

In Pokémon Go, Raids are cooperative activities that test your mettle against tough Pokemon for special rewards. Each Raid has a star rating that ranges from 1 to 5, with 1 being the easiest and 5 being the hardest. While you can participate in the simpler Raids by yourself, the more difficult raids require community cooperation.

Below we have broken down all the Pokemon Raid Bosses you will encounter during the 2022 Pokemon GO World Championship Raid event. Raid Bosses also have a chance to appear in their Shiny version, which we have marked with an asterisk (*) next to each of the Pokemon. There will also be one Mega Raid during the event which we will cover below. 

1-Star Raids

During the event, six Pokemon are available in 1-Star raids, including the World Championships 2022 Pikachu costume. The list of Raid Bosses is as follows:

• World Championships 2022 Pikachu*
• Galarian Farfetch'd*
• Marill*
• Barboach*
• Timburr*
• Scraggy

3-Star Raids

Below are the three 3-Star Raid Bosses that you will encounter during the event. These Pokemon are considered powerful, but not up to the standards of a Legendary, so you should be able to defeat or catch these with relative ease.

• Primeape 
• Lickitung*
• Skarmory*

Mega Raid

There will only be one Mega Raid during the 2022 Pokemon Go World Championship Raid. 

• Mega Slowbro*

5-Star Legendary Raids

It's very exciting that the Pokemon GO 2022 World Championships Celebration event will feature Legendary 5-Star Raids for both Zacian and Zamazenta. They will be available for Raid battles until the 31st August 2022, at 10 am local time.
