Pokemon GO's 2021 Safari Zone event took place in Liverpool, England, with thousands of fans attending the event. The 2021 celebration was such a success that the Safari Zone event will return for 2022 in a new location.
The 2022 Pokemon GO Safari Zone event will take place in Seville, Spain from 13th May 2022 to 15th May 2022. Pokemon GO Safari Zone events feature meet-and-greets with popular Pokemon creators, photo opportunities, and battle competitions. This event will be entirely in-person, unlike other events like Community Days.

Pokemon GO Safari Zone: Seville - Schedule
Pokemon GO Safari Zone 2022 will take place in Parque del Alamillo, Seville, Spain, on the second weekend in May.
Players will be able to engage in unique battles with other attendees, obtain exclusive merchandise, and take photos with costumed Pokemon characters. The 2021 Liverpool event featured a costumed Eevee and Pikachu, but the Spain Safari Zone event may feature different themed characters.

"There will be plenty of on-site attractions and give-aways to enrich your Pokémon GO experience," Pokemon GO said in a blog post. "Take scenic AR snapshots of historical and cultural landmarks and bolster your postcard collection with souvenirs from Seville!"
Players can purchase tickets on the Pokemon GO website at €26 for Early Access or €21 for General Admission. Attendees can only attend one day of the three-day event.
For this event, there is no global gameplay element, meaning that trainers will need to be in Seville to participate.

- Oricorio - Baile Style
Save for Unown E, Deerling, and Oricorio - Baile Style, there will be opportunities for trainers to catch Shiny versions of all the featured Pokemon.
The featured Pokemon for this event are meant to "embody the spirit of Seville’s fabled founder: Hercules," according to Nintendo.
