Just a week after its release, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are already giving out a free Mystery Gift item. While there are already some Mystery Gift items available to claim, those have been there from the start if players are currently playing either game. One of the items is a free Manaphy egg, and the other is a set of clothes.
With this new item, though, players need to use a special code in order to claim their prize. The prize is three statues of shiny starters for a player’s Grand Underground base. The option to use a password appeared in the Mystery Gift system earlier today, and players can find out what the code is and what it unlocks below.
The new Mystery Gift password and reward in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
In order to get the Mystery Gift system, you can either visit the third floor of the Jubilife City TV station or beat the Veilstone City Gym. For the former option, you want to talk to the man in the middle of the room and use the phrase that has the word “WIFI” in it. This gives you access to Mystery Gifts far sooner than you normally would.
Once you have the Mystery Gift system, you can access it by pressing X and going to the bottom right corner. On the Mystery Gift screen, you need to select the “Password” option and enter the following code to receive the first gift in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

BDSPUNDERGR0UND
The “O” in the underground is actually zero, but this shouldn’t trip you up too much since you can’t actually press the O key on the keyboard when entering the code. After you’ve entered the code, you’ll get sent a present, which contains three shiny starter statues available to be placed in your secret underground base.
These statues are extremely difficult to obtain otherwise, so taking advantage of this promotion now is wise for any Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl player.
