Pokémon GO Field Notes Galarian Zigzagoon - All Special Research Challenges

Just a day before the Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day went live in Pokémon GO, the Field Notes tickets went up for purchase, and Trainers can start preparing for the challenges ahead. Starting on August 13 at 11 am local time, everyone can start taking down some of the Special Research challenges tied to Obstagoon and his previous forms.

To access the Field Notes: Galarian Zigzagoon research, you'll need to buy a ticket for $1.00 in the shop. You can only use real-life currency to buy the ticket and the chance of purchasing will go away after the event ends. However, the Special Research will stay indefinitely if you have it.

All Special Research Challenges for Field Notes: Galarian Zigzagoon

Even if the Special Research will remain in your challenge tab forever, Galarian Zigzagoon is a rare find in Pokémon GO. August 13 is your best chance to get through all of the challenges on the list, or else you may be staring at that research tab for a long time.

Most of the challenges are simply tied to catching Galarian Zigzagoon in Pokémon GO or evolving it into Linoone and Obstagoon. You won't get any exclusive rewards in the Special Research, but you can certainly expect some higher chances of a shiny and far more Zigzagoon Candy. All of the challenges in Pokémon GO are listed below.

Field Notes: Galarian Zigzagoon 1/4:

• Power up Pokémon 10 times - 15 Poke Balls
• Catch 15 Galarian Zigzagoon - Galarian Zigzagoon Encounter
• Make 5 Nice Throws - 20 Zigzagoon Candies
  • Rewards: 2,000 Stardust, Galarian Zigzagoon Encounter, 1 Incense Lure

Field Notes: Galarian Zigzagoon 2/4:

• Catch 15 Galarian Zigzagoon - 30 Zigzagoon Candies
• Transfer 10 Pokémon - Galarian Linoone Encounter
• Evolve 3 Galarian Zigzagoon - 10 Pinap Berries
  • Rewards: 1,500 XP, Galarian Zigzagoon Encounter, 1 Incense

Field Notes: Galarian Zigzagoon 3/4:

• Make 3 Great Curveball Throws - 50 Zigzagoon Candies
• Evolve 1 Galarian Linoone - 1 Lucky Egg
• Transfer 10 Pokémon - 15 Great Balls
  • Rewards: 2,500 XP, 1 Rocket Radar, 15 Ultra Balls

Field Notes: Galarian Zigzagoon 4/4:

• Claim Reward - 2 Silver Pinap Berries
• Claim Reward - Galarian Zigzagoon Encounter
• Claim Reward - 3,500 XP
  • Rewards: 3,000 Stardust, Obstagoon Encounter, 3 Rare Candies

You'll have until 2 pm local time on August 13 to have unlimited Galarian Zigzagoon encounters in the wild. For the rest of that day, you can continue to find them when you complete 4-star raids, but it will be more difficult. Any days after will be much harder for completing the Special Research, so join in while you can.
