Kitakami Pokedex Completion Rewards For Pokemon Teal Mask DLC

About a year after the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players can finally get their hands on the new DLC. The first wave is called The Teal Mask and there's a lot to unpack. For example, although there are new Pokemon in the DLC, there are also returning Pokemon that are appearing in Scarlet and Violet. On top of that, there are plenty of new abilities to use.

One thing that Pokemon fans often enjoy doing is completing the Pokedex in each game. In The Teal Mask DLC, players will be able to complete the Kitakami Pokedex. But is there a reward for completing the Kitakami Pokedex in Scarlet and Violet?

What Is The Reward For Completing The Kitakami Pokedex?

In the base Scarlet and Violet games, players would get a variety of rewards for catching a certain number of Pokemon. The goal was to encourage players to catch all of the Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. Doing so would give players the Shiny Charm, a key item that gives you increased odds of catching Shiny Pokemon.

But what about the new Kitakami Pokedex? What is the reward for catching all Pokemon on that Pokedex? It is not another Shiny Charm players will be getting. If players complete the Kitakami Pokedex, they will get the Glimmering Charm. The Glimmering Charm will reward players with more Tera Shards after completing Tera Raid Battles.

How To Get Rewards For Completing The Kitakami Pokedex

Normally, players will get rewards for completing the Pokedex by just checking their Pokedex. Each benchmark will automatically reward players with an item without them having to go retrieve it. That is not the case for the Glimmering Charm. Players will actually have to collect the Glimmering Charm themselves if they want to get it.

How To Get The Glimmering Charm

To get the Glimmering Charm, players will need to find Jacq in Kitakami after they complete their Pokedex. To find Jacq, you will need to go to Mossoui Town and then head east. Jacq is on the path after the bridge near a tree. Once players show him that they completed the Kitakami Pokedex, he will reward them with the Glimmering Charm.
