In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, one of the most prominent things that players do in the game is the Tera raids. Tera Raids are a great way to get Pokemon with unique Tera-types, and on top of that, they are a fun way to farm items. There are also special event Tera raids that pop up occasionally that allow players to get unique and special Pokemon.
A new event Tera raid is coming soon. Mismagius is having a Tera raid event, and players are preparing for it. If you want to be prepared to take down Mismagius during its Tera raid event, we are here to help. Here, you will find the best counters for the upcoming Mismagius Tera raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
When Will The Mismagius Tera Raid Event Start?
Since the Mismagius Tera raid event is an event, this means that there is only a limited amount of time for players to complete the raid. Because of that, knowing when the Mismagius raid starts is very important. Knowing the start dates helps you understand how much time you have to prepare for the upcoming event.
Thankfully, we know when the raid will start. If you are interested in taking on the Mismagius event Tera raids, you can do so between the dates of January 20th through January 22nd. Once it hits the 23rd, the Mismagius raids will go away, and you will no longer be able to tackle this event raid.
What Are The Best Counters For The Mismagius Tera Raid Event?
Now that you know what dates the event raids are, you will need to come up with a game plan. There are a couple of variables that you need to be aware of. First of all, Mismagius can be any Tera-type. Although the 5-star raids will lean towards Ghost-type Tera raids, you need to be prepared for just about anything. With that being said, being prepared to beat the base form of Mismagius is the way to go.
You will want to either bring Dark-type Pokemon to resist Mismagius or a Normal-type Pokemon that are immune to Ghost-type moves. So bringing either Hydreigon or Maushold will be essential to defeating Mismagius. Both of these Pokemon completely counter the move pool of Mismagius, so they are excellent choices to bring for the raid.
