Pokémon GO Crackling Voltage Field Research Tasks & Rewards
The forthcoming in-game event, Crackling Voltage, sees plenty of Electric-type Pokémon appearing more frequently throughout various encounters and activities. The event will include a new Field Research activity for Trainers to claim and start progressing by completing its tasks.
These tasks are themed-based, so expect to catch multiple Electric-type Pokémon and evolve them to earn various rewards, including items like Poké Balls, Eggs, Berries, and encounters. As mentioned in the event's announcement post, developer Niantic revealed that some reward encounters could include Shiny forms of available Pokémon appearing during the event.
Remember that January's Field Research tasks can also be completed during the Crackling Voltage event, as you have until month's end to complete the tasks. This is due to the Field Research tasks resetting on a monthly rotation in which new tasks are added, or encounters are rotated.
