How To Catch Zorua In Pokémon GO

With Halloween nearly here, Niantic has kicked off the second part of its Pokémon GO Halloween event featuring some of the most spooky and scary Dark and Ghost-type Pokémon in the game. The Pokémon GO Halloween 2022 Part II event commenced on 27th October 2022 and will conclude on 1st November 2022. 

That said, Trainers should have enough time to catch all the Pokémon that the event features. More so, Trainers can run into one of the fan-favorites and most sought Dark-type Pokémon: Zorua and Zoroark. Here's how to catch Zorua in Pokémon GO and evolve it into Zoroark.

How To Catch Zorua In Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO Halloween 2022 Part II event will feature a handful of Pokémon that Trainers can come across and catch. However, Zorua will be a little harder to find since it is hidden behind an illusion. In particular, Zorua will take the form of Trainers' Pokémon Buddy. This trick means Zorua can be distinguished if a Trainer sees a duplicate of their Pokémon Buddy.

In short, if Trainers strolling through their neighborhood discover a duplicated version of their Pokémon Buddy on their screen, one of those is most likely Zorua. However, after tapping that disguised Zorua, it will only show its true form after catching it. Fortunately, catching Zorua should be relatively simple; Ultra Balls and Excellent Curve Throws should do the trick.

Trainers can make identifying Zorua in Pokémon GO a little easier by using a Shiny Pokémon as their Pokémon Buddy. As a result, it will be much more noticeable when they find it. This tip works even better if they have a Shiny Legendary Pokémon since those are extremely rare to come by, making it less likely it is one and more possible it's Zorua.

How To Evolve Zorua Into Zoroark In Pokémon GO?

To evolve Zorua into Zoroark, Trainers must have a keen eye, patience, and many Rare Candies. Unfortunately, because Zorua is much more difficult to distinguish from other Pokémon and catch, it makes acquiring its Rare Candies a bit challenging. Therefore, even with the tips mentioned above, it should take Trainers a relatively long while to get enough Rare Candies to evolve Zorua into Zoroark.

Evolving Zorua into Zoroark is generally pretty straightforward, though. After Trainers have acquired 50 Rare Candies, they can go to Zorua and evolve the Pokémon. And that's it. Head to Niantic's official website for more information about the Pokémon GO Halloween 2022 Part II event.
