Payday 3 Early Access: How To Get & Date

Developer Starbreeze Studios and publisher Deep Silver are gearing up for the launch of Payday 3 on PC and current-gen consoles. Prospective virtual heisters are eager to jump in, and we are happy to inform you there is a way to play Payday 3 early.

This article explains how you can get early access to the launch of Payday 3, allowing you to play the game up to three (3) days before its release on 21 September 2023, so let's jump in.

How To Get Payday 3 Early Access

Payday 3 releases on 21 September 2023. You can play it three days early (18 September 2023) if you have one of the following two editions:

• Payday 3 Silver Edition (Digital): $69.99
• Payday 3 Gold Edition (Digital): $89.99

It appears that both the Standard digital edition and physical edition, alongside the Collector's Edition, do not grant you early access. Learn about the prices and content of all Payday 3 Editions, including the Collector's Edition.

The Xbox Game Pass Payday 3 version is, of course, free for subscribers to download and play as long as the game remains on the service. However, this version does not include Early Access to the game.

If you want to play the game even earlier, then you can test Payday 3's first Heist, called "No Rest for the Wicked," on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles. This can be done for free via the Payday 3 Closed Beta running from 2 to 7 August 2023.
