Many Pal Tamers might not even know yet that Palworld has Lucky Pals, which they can find if they are...well...lucky enough. These creatures have a shiny glow, making them easy to spot once you find their location.
We'll explain how you can find the location of Lucky Pals in Palworld, alongside what this rare Pal type is and how many hours it takes on average to find and capture one, so let's glide in.

Palworld Lucky Pal Locations: How To Find
Unlike other aspects in Palworld, such as fast travel (Great Eagle Statue) locations, bosses, Alpha Pals, dungeon entrances, and much more, Lucky Pals do not have fixed spawn points.
To this end, there are no precise Palworld Lucky Pal locations we can share at the time of writing. They spawn at random and not very often. However, there are ways to help you increase your chances of finding a Lucky Pal.
Can you target-farm Lucky Pals?
Due to the random nature of Lucky Pals, you might think it is impossible to target-farm them. That's not exactly the case, however, as you can, in a way, target-farm the specific Lucky Pal you are looking for.
Since Lucky Pals are rare, enhanced versions of normal Pals, you can use a little trick to get the Lucky Pal you want. Just head to your Paldeck and a Pal type, for example, Foxparks. Then click on Habitat, and it will show you the Foxpark spawn locations on parts of the map you've already discovered. Now, head to the Foxpark spawn locations, where they are high in number, and start catching/killing. Rinse and repeat until, eventually, a Lucky Foxpark might spawn.
What are Lucky Pals in Palworld?
Lucky Pals are rare variants of standard Pals. They are larger than normal and have a shiny glow to them. Lucky Pals aren't only for bragging rights, as they have increased stat levels and skills. Think of Lucky Pals as the best version of a Pal type in Palworld.
How Long Before You Find a Lucky Pal?
We first ran into a Lucky Pal after roughly 10 hours of play. We did, however, do more base-building than probably required early in the game. From various reports, the average time before normal players run into a Lucky Pal is roughly eight hours.
This can be shortened via our target-farming method and by using a flying mount to get around Palpagos Island faster. Yes, you can spot Lucky Pals from the air.
There's also a bit of a cheesy way to try and get Lucky Pals. You can enter a dungeon, look at the first room, then leave. Every time you enter and leave a dungeon, spawns are reset. So rinse and repeat until you find a Lucky Pal spawn.
The video from YouTuber Fringe-Patriot-Gaming below showcases this method in action.
So there you have it, everything we know about the Lucky Pal locations in Palworld. Good luck, Pal Tamers; it might be a while before you find your first one! Always keep an eye out for that shiny glow!
