How To Complete The Fork In The Path Friendship Quest In Palia?
Eshe is growing concerned for her daughter, Kenyatta, highlighted in her letter forwarded to players’ Mailbox, in which she states that Kenyatta has been “making a ruckus” at home. This will start the Fork in the Path Friendship quest as they’ve been requested to speak with Kenyatta to learn what had happened and how to help her through this difficult time.
It turns out that Kenyatta disagreed with her mother over the pressures of declaring her Path as she wishes to move away from her family’s Path in working for the government. Looking to declare her Path in other areas, they’ll be helping Kenyatta determine what that could be as she wishes to try her hand at Gardening as this is Nai’o’s Path.
Players are to bring her a bag each of Carrot, Onion, Potato, and Tomato Plant Seeds, which they may have within the Inventory or purchased from Zeki’s General Store. Once delivered, Kenyatta will begin planting the seeds, and they’ll have to wait for her to contact them on how she handled Gardening, which she’ll send them a letter to their Mailbox.
Kenyatta wrote that she was unsuccessful in gardening as the plants had wilted, and they will have to mourn the loss with Kenyatta. As Gardening is not her destined Path, they can recommend one of two options, Furniture Making or designing clothes, and if players have completed Jel’s Friendship quest, An Existential Conundrum, they can suggest designing clothes as a viable Path.
This will complete Kenyatta’s Friendship quest as they’ll be awarded with improved Friendship with her, five Pearls, 20 Renown, and 300 Gold upon its completion. Additionally, they can receive unique dialogue with Jel or Tish depending on the option they selected on Kenyatta’s possible Paths to follow.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
