Skins have always been a fan favorite staple since Overwatch 1, not only for the unique personalization they give your favorite heroes but also because they act as collectibles, with some appearing and never returning. We thought this was the case for the rare Pink Mercy skin that came out back in 2018, but to our surprise, Blizzard is bringing it back in Overwatch 2 along with a variant of it as a bonus.
So if you're looking to grab this skin for yourself and want to know when and where it will be available, you're in the right place. Let's discuss the details of the returning Pink Mercy skin in Overwatch 2 and how you can get your hands on it.
Blizzard Brings Back The Rare Pink Mercy Skin For Overwatch 2 With A New Variant To Boot
The Pink Mercy skin was introduced back in 2018 and helped raise USD 12.7 million for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Now, it will be returning in Overwatch 2 on June 25 as part of another campaign to raise money for breast cancer research with the organization, and it will include a rose gold version that's purchased separately.
The Pink Mercy skin will cost $15, and the new rose gold version will be included in a $20 bundle with other cosmetics in Overwatch 2. Blizzard has stated that 100% of the proceeds (excluding platform fees and taxes) will be donated to the BCRF after the campaign ends on July 8, which is also when both skins will disappear from the shop.
So be sure to get your hands on this skin as soon as you can, not only to get an extremely rare Overwatch 2 skin for your collection this season but also to support an important cause dear to many of us. Of course, if any details surrounding the skins or their prices change, we will be sure to update you all accordingly.
