Outriders Worldslayer - Release Date, Price, Campaign, Endgame, More

A year after its initial release, the third-person co-op looter shooter Outriders is getting its biggest and most ambitious expansion to date, Outriders Wordslayer. The update will bring a host of new additions and improvements to the existing game, including a new campaign, endgame experience, loot type, new skill trees, and more.

Outriders Worldslayer - Release Date And Platforms

Outriders Worldslayer launches on 30th June 2022. Pre-ordering the game will give you 48 hours of Early Access to the game, which begins on 28th June 2022 at 9:00 am PDT | 12:00 pm EDT | 17:00 BST.

Outriders Worldslayer will be available on Microsoft Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. 

Outriders Worldslayer Price

For existing Outriders owners, Wordslayer costs $35.99. On the other hand, if you're new to the game, you will have to cough up $59.99. However, if you're a PS Plus member or Xbox Game Pass member, you can get a 10% discount.

Outriders Worldslayer - Campaign Details

Outriders Worldslayer adds a standalone story campaign, which you can jump in without playing the base game (though we don't recommend doing so for narrative purposes). You can create a new character and get a level 30 boost to start playing the Worldslayer campaign and earn up to 100 new Legendary items.

The Worldslayer campaign will feature new locations, new enemy types, and new Apocalypse gears (that replace the base game's Challenge gears). While the new expansion won't add a new character class, every existing class - Pyromancer, Technomancer, Trickster, Devastator - will get two new skill trees (part of the new PAX tree) to hone further and customize your characters.

How long is Outriders Worldslayer?

In an interview with Tom's guide, Associate Lead Balance Designer on Outriders Worldslayer Łukasz Osiński revealed that the new campaign could take about 6-12 hours to complete. However, maxing out your characters, and grinding the new endgame Trial of Tarya Gratar, would pump up those numbers significantly.

Outriders Worldslayer Endgame Activity

The trial of Tarya Gratar is the new endgame activity in Outriders Worldslayer. As you would expect, it's the most challenging aspect of the Worldslayer expansion but hides the best rewards in the game. The Trial of Tarya Gratar features a new exclusive enemy type and will also let you farm specific types of Apocalypse gear.
