New World: Aeternum Kicks Off Open Beta Ahead of October Launch

New World: Aeternum is a new version of Amazon Games' MMORPG that shifts focus to a more RPG-style of gameplay. While players could previously only enjoy New World on PC, Aeternum brings the fight to consoles, with players able to jump in on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

But, before it launches on October 15, players have a chance to hop into the Open Beta across PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Open Beta starts from today, September 13, and will run up until September 16, 2024. 

During the Open Beta, players will be able to reach level 30, explore Aeternum, and unlock a variety of mounts, 3v3 arenas, and expeditions. It's worth noting that progression through the Open Beta won't carry over to the full game at launch, however, players will earn themselves rewards that will carry over. 

New World: Aeternum Open Beta: All Rewards

Players can earn the following rewards by participating in the New World: Aeternum Open Beta:

• Aeternian Trailblazer - Title: Participate in Open Beta
• Vambrace of the Aeternian Adventurer - Gloves: Reach level 10 with any character
• Jackboots of the Aeternian Adventurer - Footwear: Reach level 15 with any character
• Britches of the Aeternian Adventurer - Legwear: Reach level 20 with any character
• Tricorn of the Aeternian Adventurer - Headwear: Reach level 25 with any character
• Greatcoat of the Aeternian Adventurer - Chestwear: Reach level 25 with any character

 Note that the rewards can only be claimed on the platform you used for the Open Beta. For example, if you played the Open Beta on PC, you'll only unlock the rewards for New World: Aeternum on PC.
