MultiVersus is a free-to-play (F2P) platform fighting game that is taking the industry by storm following its Open Beta release on 26th July 2022 on PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Developer Player First Games announced on social media on 27th May 2024 that servers will be taken offline on 28th May 2024, ending at specific times for console and PC, respectively, ahead of its launch on PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam. These are times as confirmed by the developer, which are as follows:
- Console (PS4|5 consoles, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S): Servers will be under Maintenance Mode for consoles until 28th May 2024, ending at 4 am PT / 7 am ET / 11 am UTC
- PC (Epic Games Store and Steam): Servers will be under Maintenance Mode for consoles until 28th May 2024, ending at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC
Is MultiVersus Under Maintenance? MultiVersus Servers Down
According to a Twitter post by the MultiVersus Twitter account, all MultiVersus servers will be brought down and remain under Maintenance Mode until allocated dates and times for consoles and PCs. Consoles will be under Maintenance Mode until 28th May 2024, ending at 4 am PT / 7 am ET / 11 am UTC before servers are brought online, as the developer will let players join servers in waves.
PC players will have to wait a bit longer as Maintenance Mode will remain until 28th May 2024, ending at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC and they'll be allowed to join servers in waves. Please check the official MultiVersus channels, especially their Twitter account, as they'll be updating players when they can join servers.
How To Check MultiVersus Network & Server Status?
At the time of writing, there aren't many options to check the MultiVersus server status, except for following the game's official Twitter account and WB Games Support. Players will be notified on the official MultiVersus Twitter account as to when they'll let players know about server maintenance.
What about unexpected connection issues or server downtime? Well, there is no specific server page. However, on Twitter, you can follow the MultiVersus developer Player First Games' co-founder Tony Huynh, which as per the image above, they also updates fans on server build issues.
