Rambo brings the blood in Mortal Kombat 11 character trailer

Ahead of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate’s release next month, developer NetherRealm has released the first gameplay trailer for new DLC character Rambo.

Voiced by Sylvester Stallone himself, Rambo marks the latest in a line of 80s action hero crossovers for Mortal Kombat 11 - following The Terminator and Robocop.

Rambo might be the most brutal of them all, with an arsenal packing rope traps and oversized machine guns reminiscent of the classic films. 

His main weapon is a dagger which he doles out for primary attacks, while he can also, hilariously, crawl across the floor combat style to sneak up on opponents.

His Fatal Blow utilises explosive arrows, while Rambo’s fatality steps up the gore even further - seeing the character wedge his opponent in a floor trap before pulling out his throat. 

Rambo arrives alongside Mortal Kombat veterans Rain and Mileena as part of Kombat Pack 2, which follows the previous Aftermath expansion released earlier this year.
