Hot on the heels of the Mortal Kombat 1 reveal, it's now been confirmed (Konfirmed?) that the very first gameplay reveal will take place during Summer Games Fest. The news came via Ed Boon, Co-Creator of the series and currently the Chief Creative Officer at NetherRealm Studios, who will be joining Geoff Keighley on stage to reveal the gory first look at NetherRealm's latest entry into the series.

Many things are still up in the air about the Mortal Kombat 1 reboot, including what the graphics in the trailer might look like, and what new gameplay mechanics might be introduced to the game. What we do know is its minimum technical specs, and that crossplay, unfortunately, won't be available upon the game's launch.
If you're looking forward to playing Mortal Kombat 1; you won't have to wait too long. After getting a sneak peek at what the game might look like during Summer Game Fest 2023, fans will be able to play the game when it releases in September 2023.
While this will be the game's first official gameplay trailer to be released, it isn't the first trailer for the game altogether; developers have already shown a look at the game in an CGI announcement trailer that looks utterly fantastic.
