Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak – How To Claim Free Elgado Pack 3 DLC

Capcom is celebrating the success of the Sunbreak expansion for its latest RPG, Monster Hunter Rise, with all its Hunters. In a press release on 5th July, the publisher confirmed selling over 10 million game units, with two million copies of the expansion purchased.

However, the publisher has now updated its original statement, noting that over three million copies of the Sunbreak expansion were purchased, and launched a free content DLC to celebrate the achievement. Here's everything included in the free Elgado Pack3 DLC and how to claim it in Monster Hunter Rise.

MHR Sunbreak – What is the Elgado Pack 3 DLC?

After its successful launch on 30th June 2022, Capcom opted to celebrate this momentous occasion. Announced via the Monster Hunter Twitter account, Capcom has launched a free content DLC, Elgado Pack 3, for all Hunters to acquire in-game.

First reported by Video Games Chronicle, the free “Commemorative Item Pack” is the publisher’s way of thanking players for their support since the expansion’s launch. Additionally, they’ve revealed what’s included in the DLC, which looks as follows:

• Dust of Life x30
• Herbal Powder x30
• Demon Powder x15
• Hardshell Powder x15
• Friend Voucher x10

These items have varying purposes from restoring Health, negating Poison Status Effect, buffs attacks, and crafting. Additionally, these items can be sold in exchange for Zenny if you require to purchase items beneficial to Hunters' build.

MHR Sunbreak – How To Claim Free Elgado Pack 3 DLC

Before claiming the free DLC, you are required to have the latest version of Monster Hunter Rise to access the content on your Nintendo Switch or PC. From there, you’ll need to follow the outlined instructions below:

• Once the update is installed, restart or reboot the game.
• Set course for the Courier either in Kamura Village or the Outpost.
• Enter the Courier’s menu and find the “Add-on Content” option in the menu.
• Within the menu, locate the Elgado Pack 3 and select all the items to be added to your in-game inventory.

Once added, these items will become available for upgrading, crafting, and consuming on your next hunts. Additionally, there will be more amazing content for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak as a free update is planned to arrive in August 2022.

We know Hunters can expect two more monster subspecies and a new location, Forlorn Arena, available in the free update.
