Monster Hunter Rise Has Sold Over 13 Million Units

Monster Hunter Rise has officially crossed 13 million units sold worldwide.

In an official statement, the Monster Hunter Twitter has stated:

"Monster Hunter Rise has now sold over 13 million units, with Sunbreak achieving more than 6 million units worldwide too!

To our global community, thank you. Your amazing support and passion for Monster Hunter is felt by everyone on the team!"

Monster Hunter Rise launched in March 2021 exclusively to the Nintendo Switch, before getting a PC port in January 2022. The game was then ported to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S earlier this year. 

Monster Hunter Rise: Subreak also launched earlier this year, and is an expansion pack for Monster Hunter Rise. The fact that it has sold over six million global units is extremely impressive since that means almost half of the current user base owns the expansion to the title.
