Attention hunters in the augmented-reality wilds, there's a big new Halloween event coming to Monster Hunter Now called the Pumpkin Hunt! If you are unsure where to start or when to participate, then we've got you covered.

Monster Hunter Now Halloween Event Dates & Times

Niantic has provided mobile gamers with the exact Monster Hunter Now Halloween dates and times, alongside the increased spawn times and dates for Kulu-Ya-Ku holding a pumpkin-like rock.

First off, the Monster Hunter Now Halloween event runs from 25 October 2023, at 09:00 to 31 October 31, 2023, at 23:59 in your local time.

The Kulu-Ya-Ku with pumpkin-like rocks will appear more frequently and in larger numbers from 28 October 2023 at 09:00 to 31 October 2023 at 23:59 local time. You can slay these festive creatures to earn Pumpkin Tickets, used to upgrade your Jack-o’-Head equipment!

Monster Hunter Now Pumpkin Hunt Limited-Time Quest

For those who are Hunter Rank 11 and above, you will receive Halloween-inspired Monster Hunter Now quests automatically in your Special Quests tab. You have from 25 October 2023, at 09:00 to 31 October 31, 2023, 23:59, to complete them.

These Halloween Pumpkin Hunt Quests involve gathering special items or slaying certain large monsters to receive Pumpkin Tickets, which can be used to forge and upgrade your Jack-o’-Head equipment.

On Saturday, 28 October 2023, at 09:00 server time, you will also get a Halloween Medal Acquisition Quest to get a Halloween Pumpkin Hunt Medal. Complete this quest before 31 October 2023 at 23:59.

Monster Hunter Now Jack-o’-Head Armor & Skill

By collecting Pumpkin Tickets during the Monster Hunter Now Halloween event (slay those spooky Kulu-Ya-Ku), you will be able to craft new Jack-o’-Head armor!

With this head armor piece comes a new skill called Solidarity. Check out an explanation of how this skill works below.

Increases attack power the more of your fellow hunters have this skill activated. If active during the Halloween Pumpkin Hunt event, the effect is multiplied by 5! 

Limited-Time Exclusive Item Packs For Halloween

There are two limited-time exclusive item packs on sale during the Monster Hunter Now Halloween event. Check out the items in each pack below.

Halloween Pack:

• Paintball x2
• Wander Droplet x2
• Special Carving Knife x2

Web Store-Exclusive Halloween Premium Pack:

• Potion x30
• Paintball x6
• Wander Droplet x6
• Special Carving Knife x3

At the time of writing, it is unclear how much these packs will cost.

Monster Hunter Now Halloween Event Details

The developers have shared additional details for the Monster Hunter Now Halloween Pumpkin Hunt event. You can check them out below!

• Event Quests will automatically be made available for hunters HR11 and above in the Special Quest tab in-game.
• Kulu-Ya-Ku holding a pumpkin-like rock will appear for all hunters HR11 and above, regardless of whether they have completed the relevant Story Quests.
• Quests will be effective until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Make sure to collect your Quest rewards before then.
• Event details are subject to change.
• Any Kulu-Ya-Ku holding a pumpkin-like rock that were marked with Paintballs during the event will still be available to hunt (as Kulu-Ya-Ku holding a pumpkin-like rock) after the event ends and will still drop Pumpkin Tickets.
• If you’ve used up 70 Pumpkin Tickets to upgrade your Jack-o’-Head equipment, any further upgrades can only be made using regular materials.
