Best Stature Decks In Marvel Snap

Stature is one of the newest cards set to join the Series 5 roster sometime this month in Marvel Snap. She has a very unique ability that reduces her overall cost to one if your opponent has discarded a card from their hand at any point over the course of the entire game. With such an oddly specific ability and not one that is so easily activated, it will take some time for Stature to solidify herself in the current meta. However, if the new Season Pass card, MODOK, is as terrifying as the Season Pass cards that came before him, Stature could turn out to be an excellent counter.

Best Stature Decks in Marvel Snap

At the time of writing this, there are only two cards that forcibly discard a card from your opponent's hand, Moon Knight and Black Bolt. Moon Knight sees fringe play in certain Discard decks, but Black Bolt is considered to be unplayable in its current state. So, at first glance, Stature seems only viable in a Discard deck of your own that also runs Moon Knight. 

That being said, Stature could become the answer to a lot of the Discard decks out there, should they start dominating the meta. Ghost Rider and Dracula are already considered two of the best cards in the game, thanks to their synergy with the Discard archetype, and MODOK only makes this deck more powerful. Stature could be a nice inclusion, such as Killmonger or Shang-Chi, designed to counter the many Discard decks in the meta. 

Stature Discard Deck

The most obvious place for Stature is in a Discard deck. So long as you've played Moon Knight sometime over the course of a game, Stature will be reduced to only cost one Energy. This allows you to make some very bursty plays on the final turn (such as Stature + Aero).

Stature + Black Bolt Deck

Stature may just be the card to bring Black Bolt back into the meta. If used in conjunction with Wong, Black Bolt will be discarding two of your opponent's cards, which is very impactful when a Marvel Snap deck contains only twelve cards. When used alongside cards like Sentinel, which seeks to reduce the chance of your discarding a key card from Moon Knight, Stature becomes a powerful threat.

Stature Cerebro-7 Deck

This may not be the most competitively viable deck out there, but it will certainly catch your opponent off-guard. The most meta Cerebro decks at the moment are Cerebro-2 and, to a lesser-extent, Cerebro-3. No one ever expects the Cerebro-7!
