Marvel Rivals shows no signs of slowing down its dominance in the hero shooter genre. Following the recent confirmation of the Fantastic Four joining the game, we now have our first look at Season 1, titled Eternal Night Falls. With plenty of new content coming this season, there are tons to look forward to, so let's take a quick look at everything we know so far about Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls Release Date

As announced on the official Marvel Rivals X account, Season 1, titled Eternal Night Falls, will begin on January 10, 2025, at 1 AM PST. The season will introduce new lore, with Dracula and Doctor Doom disrupting the moon's orbit, plunging the city into eternal night, and unleashing an army of vampiric creatures.

Not only will Doctor Doom serve as the antagonist for this season (continuing his role from Season 0), but Dracula, a canon Marvel character, will join him. This could hint at more vampire-themed content to come, and while the specifics remain unclear, it's an exciting foundation for the season’s story and content.

Fantastic Four's Arrival in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls

The post also confirms the arrival of the Fantastic Four during Season 1, with the message: "With the world on the brink, the Fantastic Four join forces with iconic Marvel heroes, standing together in the epic battle to break the mystical darkness with science."

It's fun to speculate that we may see some cosmetics for the Fantastic Four to match the season's theme. I'd love to see a vampiric-themed Mr. Fantastic, but that's just my speculation.

Season 1 is shaping up to be an exciting chapter, both in terms of content and lore. Some players are even hoping for Blade to join mid-season (count me in!). Be sure to check back for more updates as we keep you informed on both confirmed and speculated content in Marvel Rivals Season 1.
