Marvel Rivals' Black Widow Gets Her Iconic MCU Outfit As New Cosmetic Skin

The Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff, is gearing up to "surprise and shock" her enemies as a Duelist-classed hero for Marvel Rivals. The titular character was revealed in the game's Launch Trailer alongside other newly confirmed heroes for which the "super-spy sniper" received a new Character Reveal trailer.

But that's not all we received on the Black Widow, as this coincided with the daily news announcement post, which said that the latest Rivals Assemble video had been uploaded, showcasing more of the character's deadly combat skills. In addition to the Character Reveal and Rivals Assemble video, we got a sneak peek into the character's new cosmetic skin reveal, which symbolizes Natasha's evolution, having been done with "running" from her past.

We're three days away from the global release of Marvel Rivals for consoles and PCs, and the surprises and reveals haven't slowed down. In fact, players have been spoiled with the recent batch of announcements, including new characters and maps alongside the daily news announcements, which saw a plethora of new cosmetic skin reveals for all confirmed playable characters available at launch.

This trend continued as NetEase Games posted the latest daily news announcement across the official Marvel Rivals on 3rd December 2024, in which they revealed a new cosmetic skin for Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow. Like previous character skin reveals, the Black Widow was primarily inspired by her appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the White Suit from the 2021 Black Widow film is coming soon to Marvel Rivals.
