We're now well past the midway point of the season, and the league's top teams are becoming clear. The Lions, Dolphins, and Eagles all saw some players rise in the latest Madden 24 ratings update.
Of course, it's never all good news with success always coming at the detriment of others. Even Detroit Lions signal caller Jared Goff couldn't escape the ratings adjustors in this Madden 24 roster update.
Lions Madden 24 Ratings Rise (Not Jared Goff)
While the Lions suffered a hard-fought loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Day, there were still positive signs for the team that leads the NFC North. Amon-Ra St. Brown has become the undeniable star of the Detroit Lions, and his Madden 24 ratings continue to show that.
In the Week 12 Madden 24 roster update, Amon-Ra St. Brown saw a small boost to his Medium Route Running and a 3-point spike to his Catch in Traffic rating. The latter change was enough to push St. Brown to a 91 OVR on the year, a full four points ahead of the 87 OVR he had at launch.
The other main star on the offensive side to see a Madden 24 ratings boost was an unsung hero in right tackle Penei Sewell. With boosts to his Awareness, Run Block, Run Block Power, and Run Block Finesse, Sewel jumps to 92 OVR after starting the year just 86 OVR.
Several defensive players saw changes in the opposite direction, as did quarterback Jared Goff. His ratings are down in Awareness, Throw Under Pressure, and Throw Accuracy Short which drop Goff to an 82 OVR, down from his peak this year at 84 OVR in the Week 10 update.
Madden 24 Ratings Up For Dolphins & Eagles
Elsewhere in the league, two division leaders continue to rise. AFC East frontrunners the Miami Dolphins keep putting things together, and the NFC East's Philadelphia Eagles both lead their division and lead the entire NFL in wins this year.
On the Eagles offense, we see some one-point boosts with Jalen Hurts moving to 91 OVR and Devonta Smith to 88 OVR. On the other side of the ball, cornerback James Bradberry IV got a small boost to put him back at the 85 OVR rating he was given at launch.
Tyreek Hill was already a 99 OVR but his Catching rating went up yet again, and fellow wideout Jaylen Waddle went up to an 87 OVR after dropping to a season-low 86 OVR last week. As for the Dolphins defense, tack on ratings increases for Jevon Holland and Jerome Baker.
Finally, if you look to special teams we saw kicker ratings up on both the Dolphins and Eagles. Jake Elliot and Jason Sanders each saw a two-point boost in this roster update, taking Elliot's Madden 24 rating to 83 OVR and Sanders' to 73 OVR.
