As the NFL season starts to creep towards the playoffs, the latest Madden 24 roster update has sent ratings swirling once again as the league enters Week 15. A hard fought Week 14 was better for some teams than others, but on the quarterback front it was only good news for Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy. With the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers both closing in on the playoffs, let's see how their Madden 24 ratings are showcasing that success.
Madden 24 Roster Update bumps Prescott and Purdy ratings
Arguably no job in the NFL is more difficult than being a starting quarterback, and for the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys it's also been crucial to their success. Each team feels poised for a deep playoff run that could see them squaring off in the NFC Championship, and the Madden 24 ratings are continuing to recognize the signal callers leading that charge.
After starting the year at just 87 OVR, Dak Prescott struggled in the first weeks of the season. He dipped below 87 OVR twice before finally jumping up to 89 OVR after Week 10, and he just continues to rise. Following another big week, Prescott is now up to 92 OVR and is tied as the fourth best quarterback in Madden 24 alongside Josh Allen.
However, Brock Purdy has been on fire after starting the year at a measly 73 OVR rating. Purdy jumped to 76 OVR in Week 1, hit 82 OVR by Week 5, and now leaps all the way to 87 OVR after Week 14. The Madden 24 ratings may not have reflected his skill early, but that's fianlly changing with each roster update.
